As a practice we constantly survey others to pull put useful data and insights that tell us why we behave the way we do and what interventions are needed to change those behaviors. The participants at this conference (i.e. ourselves) are among the most climate aware and educated public. Nonetheless we ourselves encounter barriers to 100% climate neutral lifestyles and behaviors. We do not all have all.electric, renewable powered homes and vehicles; we do not all bike and walk everywhere; we do not all have wasteless plant-based diets. When we know better and are motivated enough to attend a conference called Behavior Energy and Climate Change, what stands in our way? This interactive display and presentation will feature online surveys that can be accessed directly through URL or via QR code on posters throughout the physical conference spaces. The surveys will ask about barriers and enablers to our own behavior change. Data will be analyzed on Tues night and rough findings presented live on Wed.
