As one of the world’s largest integrated energy and chemicals companies, Saudi Aramco is playing an active role in building a lower carbon economy, while delivering the energy and materials needed to support the growth and societal well-being globally. Saudi Aramco supports the objectives set by the Paris Agreement, which aims to strengthen the global response to the threat of climate change. In October 2021, the Company announced its ambition to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its wholly-owned operated assets by 2050.
