Luke Surowiec has over 15 years of experience designing, marketing, and implementing on-the-ground decarbonization and sustainability programs. Over the past decade, he has supported the NYC Mayor's Office implement its leading building decarbonization policies including NYC's Building Emissions Law (LL97), the most impactful building performance standard (BPS) in the country affecting 50,000 NYC properties. Luke designed and directs the supporting NYC Accelerator Program which has touched close to 1B sq ft of real estate since early 2021. Throughout his career, he has personally worked with tens of thousands of large building stakeholders and now helps government and utility clients implement next generation decarbonization programs. Luke holds a BA and an MBA from Stony Brook University of New York. He is a LEED AP, a BPI certified professional, and has sat on the board of Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) Mid-Atlantic Chapter since 2015.
