It examines the limitations of viewing survivors primarily through diagnosis and compliance, and shows how Trauma‑Informed Care reframed behaviors as survival responses while prioritizing safety, trust, and dignity. The session then situates trauma‑responsive care as a move from values to action through organizational and policy change, and introduces Healing‑Centered Engagement as a strengths‑based, systemic approach centered on wholeness, culture, and collective healing. Finally, it integrates resilience and post‑traumatic growth, emphasizing shared responsibility, access to resources, and survivor agency as essential to healing.
