Demand drives sex trafficking. Focusing on holding buyers accountable, reducing high frequency buyers, and using investigations and prosecutions to improve outcomes is essential to combatting sex trafficking. This presentation will use case studies over the last 18 years illustrating how challenging sex trafficking cases are improved with using buyer investigations and prosecutions. This creative and advance approach also leads to better outcomes with victims/survivors/individuals with lived experience.
