Detective Jasin Swy is a 13-year veteran of the Mesa Police Department and currently a detective with the Homicide Unit within the Criminal Investigations Division. Jasin was assigned as an undercover detective with the Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEaT) Unit of the Special Operations Division for over six years prior to his current assignment. Jasin is a Task Force Officer with FBI HT Group and holds an OCE (w/VCAC) certification. He has led and participated in numerous large-scale human trafficking investigations across Arizona.
Jasin is an AZPOST primary instructor and helped develop the HEaT UC/Decoy School for law enforcement training as well as HT-Combating Predators using Social Media course. He has earned multiple honors for his anti-trafficking work, including the Medal of Excellence from Mesa PD. Jasin has a passion for helping train law enforcement on undercover operations targeting predators and has created Dolos Concepts in order to consult and instruct in this capacity throughout the United States. He has been an instructor at the RISS Western Region Human Trafficking Summit, International JUST Conference, AZ Call to Action Summit, Shared Hope International “Keep Our Kids Safe” event and various Law Enforcement agencies across the country.
