Dr. Chambers, a George Washington medical grad, completed residency at Dignity Health Methodist Hospital & holds fellowships in faculty & program director development. An AAFP Fellow, he serves as DIO/PD for the Dignity Health Methodist FM Residency, Chair of the Family Medicine Department, Chief of S. Sac Hill Physicians, and Medical Director/co-founder for Mercy Medical Safe Haven Clinic. He's also Dignity Health Human Trafficking Response Physician Advisor and UC Davis Clinical Faculty. He's profoundly passionate about providing trauma-informed, victim-centered care for human trafficking survivors through "Medical Safe Havens." Crucially, he integrates this critical care with resident physician education, creating a model that simultaneously delivers widespread support for survivors and trains future doctors to proficiently identify, respond to, and longitudinally treat this vulnerable population. His work empowers tomorrow's physicians to deliver compassionate, skilled care for a critical societal need.
