Samantha Lawson Davis is a training and workforce development leader with over 13 years of experience at LSF Health Systems, where she has played a key role in strengthening Florida’s behavioral health workforce. As Senior Director of Training, she leads the design and implementation of large-scale, trauma-informed learning initiatives that build capacity among providers, peer specialists, and community partners across the state. Most recently, Samantha co-led the development of the Survivor Training in Advocacy and Resiliency (STAR) curriculum, a first-of-its-kind, survivor-centered training model designed to equip individuals with lived experience of human trafficking with the skills to serve as advocates, trainers, and system change agents. This work reflects her commitment to elevating lived expertise and embedding trauma-informed, recovery-oriented practices into workforce development.
