Description
This workshop will provide an in depth look at strategies for building a research team that includes multiple academic disciplines, survivor-leaders (lived experts), and other stakeholders. Key components of our processes are transferable beyond research and they can be used to foster and build authentic survivor leadership in all aspects of an anti-trafficking response. The presentation will describe our process, highlight how lived expertise makes the research better, and share the impact the project has had on the team itself.
