Description
This presentation focuses on the development and implementation of select multidisciplinary algorithms in a pregnant child who is suspected of being a victim of DMST. This algorithm is applied using a variety of settings, including a school, pediatrician's office, mental health unit, and emergency department. Information critical to the application of these algorithms includes the review of developmentally appropriate approaches, trauma-informed care, life-threatening health concerns for the child and unborn child, and methods to implementing wrap-around multidisciplinary services.
