Description

Foreign National Trafficking is prolific in the U.S. due to open borders, inadequate visa processes, the presence of sophisticated cartels in the U.S., sophisticated technology, and the reluctance of foreign national victims to cooperate with law enforcement. This class will examine multiple large-scale cases of sex and labor trafficking, money laundering techniques, and testimony of victims that were freed. We will also look at specific organizational structures, that empowered cartels to recruit and exploit young women, generating millions of dollars for cartels.
