Shanna Parker is a national Survivor Leader and Subject Matter Expert in the field Child Sex Trafficking for 15yrs. She consults for the Office of Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center building programs and specialized trainings. She works with the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges to build survivor informed courts. She is faculty at Elevate Academy an online school for survivors. Shanna has trained and worked with tribal agencies to develop responses on native lands. She’s currently a US Delegate for the Dept. of Justice to Canada and Mexico. Her day job is with Southwest Network where she has worked with over 200 chronically trafficked youth. She authored a book “And He Called Me Angel” She has a TEDx Talk “The laws of being a victim” and she has been featured on the Polaris website for her “Oh Say Can You See” photo project.
