Alice Johnson, Founder and President of TheOpenGateway.org and Sister Survivor’s Social Media Connect, is a steadfast advocate for trafficking survivors and victims. With nine years as a Case Manager and Outreach Specialist in sexual exploitation and human trafficking, she has authored "Out of the Darkness: A Survivor Story" and created the "Who Am I Now?" workshops.

Serving on the Human Trafficking Task Force in Detroit and the Michigan State Commission on Human Trafficking since 2020, Alice oversees crucial funding and policy. She has significantly contributed to programming for survivors at organizations like Vista Maria, Common Ground, and the 36th District Specialty Court, establishing herself as a leading expert in combating trafficking and sexual exploitation.
