Alix Wickline, MSW, LISW-CP, is a Forensic Interviewer / Community Response Coordinator at the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center in Charleston, South Carolina. In her current position, Mrs. Wickline provides child and adolescent forensic interviews at Dee Norton and has conducted approximately 2,000+ forensic interviews in her career. Mrs. Wickline is trained in three nationally recognized forensic interview protocols and has also been trained in the Child Sex Trafficking 8-Step Approach to Forensic Interviewing (NCJTC). In her past role as a Therapist/Forensic Interviewer at Dee Norton, Mrs. Wickline also provided trauma-informed therapeutic services to children and families. Mrs. Wickline has received training in adaptations to trauma-informed treatment for youth with complex trauma histories or who have been identified as commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC). Mrs. Wickline continues to work as a CSEC consultant and case coordinator at Dee Norton, and is currently authoring a secondary prevention group for adolescents who engage in high risk behaviors in order to reduce their risk of future exploitation.
