Since 2006, Francesca has been a dynamic advocate in the Bay Area, working to dismantle racial and gender inequities and foster community empowerment. Her journey from a volunteer to executive leader in nonprofit operations showcases her commitment to advocacy and equity. Francesca’s efforts have shaped trauma-informed programs in youth development, early childhood education, food justice, LGBTQ+ services, senior care, and workforce development. A former foster youth, she began advocating at 15 before the Senate in Washington, D.C. As a Foster America Fellow and member of their National Leadership Advisory Group, she contributes to national strategies improving the foster care system. Francesca lives in Daly City with her children and enjoys the beach, hiking, yoga, and live music.
