Nyeri Richards is a Grants Management Specialist at the Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) Human Trafficking Division. Ms. Richards brings her workforce development background, professional experience, and a personal commitment to enhancing responses to child victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation to her work. Before joining OVC in July 2023, Ms. Richards served as a regional director of youth justice services at the Southwest offices of Youth Advocate Programs (YAP), Inc. During her almost decade long career at YAP, Ms. Richards also served as a program director of youth justice services, child welfare, and workforce development.
