**This presentation is for sworn law enforcement only and analysts who are employed with sworn law enforcement agencies.
In this presentation, we will discuss HSI’s Human Trafficking Investigations involving UACs. We will discuss how foreign-born minor victims can be victimized by sex and/or labor trafficking schemes. We will discuss possible barriers involving cultural or language issues that may arise and how to overcome them. We will discuss how HSI works with NGOs to accomplish a victim-centered approach. We will look at one or two real life cases involving foreign-born victims of human trafficking. Lastly, we will discuss how HSI can assist victims of human trafficking in seeking immigration benefits.
