Description
Almost 88% of all human trafficking victims come into contact with a healthcare provider at some point during the course of their trafficking. Many of these victims remain unidentified due to healthcare’s lack of a unified approach to identifying red flags. We’re here to share the multi-disciplinary approach to fighting this crime and ensuring more victims don’t go unseen. The development and implementation of human trafficking victim identification education and policy within the healthcare system has improved our ability to locate victims at risk.
