This presentation will take an in-depth but turbo speed journey through the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences, the importantance of recognizing the devastating of not addressing vicarious trauma when working with abused victims, and sensitivity of being trauma-informed in the workplace and community. This presentation will give the attendees a volume of resources that will help alert and flag those that have potentially been abused, a tool belt of ways to communicate with them, and a wealth of knowledge in regards to best practices to help protect those that deal with these types of difficult cases throughout their career.
