A South Florida native, Brigitte graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College at Florida International University and gained hands-on experience as a personal injury case manager. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, graduating as a distinguished Blume Public Interest Scholar.

Brigitte's career reflects a deep commitment to advocacy and service. Prior to law school, she served as a Survivor Advocate at Kristi House Children’s Advocacy Center, supporting youth victims of exploitation and working closely with the Miami Children’s Courthouse child trafficking division. Her impactful work in child advocacy earned her the 2020 Champion for Children Award from the Child Welfare League of America.
