Dr. Kilian serves on the Advisory Board for the University of South Florida's Human Trafficking TIPSTR Data Project, the Pasco County Commission on Human Trafficking, and previously served on the Florida Institute for Child Welfare's GROW Advisory Committee. He is an adjunct professor at Saint Leo University and the University of South Florida teaching self-designed child welfare and delinquency curricula, human trafficking, victimology, and leadership and management courses. He has spearheaded child welfare internship programs at both universities, which have since been modeled across Florida.
