As a teen, Yvonne endured horrific trauma, was mislabeled a prostitute, and spent 9 years in prison—a stark failure of our system to protect children. Yet her story is one of resilience and transformation. In 2010 she entered the WIN Program, gained job skills, and built a career in ministry, advocacy, and leadership. She later consulted for Shared Hope International, launched the Just Like Me campaign, and now serves as Senior Manager of National Survivors Outreach. A wife, mother, business owner, and community leader, Yvonne shares her story to ensure others find care, not prison. Her life is a testament to faith, perseverance, and the power of restoration.
