Patrick Vanier was recently hired as prosecutor with the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office assigned to the Homicide and Human Trafficking Units. Previously, Patrick worked at the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office assigned to the Santa Clara County Human Exploitation and Trafficking Task Force. During his twenty-six year career as a prosecutor, Patrick has prosecuted sexual assaults, child molestations, homicides, gang crimes and a variety of serious and violent felonies. For five years Patrick was the Supervising Deputy District Attorney for the Narcotics Prosecution Team. Patrick has spent more than half of his career working with law enforcement agencies investigating and prosecuting major narcotics cases with a particular emphasis on drug cartels, organized crime and gangs.
