Liz Wooten is an experienced facilitator, keynote speaker and strategy expert with over 25 years of service to the Florida and Tampa Bay communities. She currently serves as the entrepreneurial leader of Connect For More, a coaching and consulting firm that engages leaders and empowers philanthropists by sharing resources to help them accomplish their mission.

Liz provides executive coaching, leadership facilitations and delivers inspiring speaking engagements for all sector leaders, philanthropists, consultants and rising leaders. Her purpose is to work with people who aspire to be better leaders through courage, authenticity and resilience.

Liz is known for her authentic and humanistic leadership style, which she shares through her humor, empathy and generosity with all she encounters. She is also a published author, blogger and insightful interviewer dedicated to connecting people with experiences that are both inspiring, vulnerable and affirming. In 2021, she gave her first TedX talk speaking vulnerably and courageously on self-worth, checking our inner critic and accepting life as it is.

Liz is a self-proclaimed recovering perfectionist, with a passion for the arts, animal rights and college football. She is a fourth generation Floridian and Key West Conch, raised by educators and community leaders dedicated to helping their communities through volunteerism, philanthropy and connection. She has lived in Tampa for almost 30 years and currently makes her home with her husband and their blended family circus – which includes a college graduate, college student, middle schooler, elementary schooler, two dogs and one cat. Her past careers include public school teacher, dance team coach, nonprofit fundraiser and caregiver for her mother. She is an alumnus of University of South Florida (Go Bulls!).
