Speakers Liz Wooten & Mike Trepper share many things – a home, blended family circus, love of college football. Now in their second marriages, they’re combining their love of facilitating change and nonprofit service to help leaders achieve balance.
Liz is a sought-after keynote speaker and strategy expert, serving as the entrepreneurial leader of Connect For More, a coaching and consulting firm specializing in nonprofit strategy. She enjoys working with leaders who aspire to be more courageous, authentic and resilient. Her passion for nonprofit work began early in life and was confirmed while attending graduate school at the University of South Florida. Her past careers include public school teacher, dance team coach, nonprofit fundraiser and caregiver for her mother.
Mike is known as a passionate children and youth advocate. His practice and commitment to ensuring that all people grow up safe, healthy and are provided opportunities to reach their full potential has been nationally recognized and is routinely tapped as part of consultative work with school districts, nonprofit and community groups and government entities. He is the President and CEO of Pasco Kids First, a nonprofit Children’s Advocacy Center that works on the prevention, assessment and treatment of child abuse and neglect. Previously, Mike held senior leadership positions with Prodigy Cultural Arts; Playsmart; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay; Tampa YMCA; and Ophelia Project/Boys Initiative; NCCJ; and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Alachua County. His passion for nonprofit community work was sparked by a very early experience serving as an AmeriCorps national service member in the city of Detroit.
Both Liz & Mike hold Master’s degrees, support youth baseball and enjoy camping. He was born in Long Island, New York and raised in Miami; Liz was born in raised in Key West and is a proud fourth generation Floridian.
