This workshop highlights how the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Trafficking in Persons translated research, field learning, and insights from experts with lived experience into practical strategies to address technology-facilitated abuse and its intersection with child trafficking. Using a public health, research-to-practice approach, the session will share current trends, lessons learned, and practical, adaptable strategies to strengthen prevention, early identification, and help-seeking among children and youth. Participants will also learn how OTIP used listening sessions, public awareness and outreach, and training and technical assistance to build resources that broaden understanding of online risk and support prevention and response efforts at the national, state, local, and systems levels.
