Stronger Together: How Law Enforcement and Nonprofits Partner to Combat Sex Trafficking highlights the impact of multidisciplinary collaboration in addressing trafficking and supporting survivors. This session features FBI Special Agents, Victim Specialists, nonprofit leadership, and clinicians serving youth in foster care at risk of or are impacted by sex trafficking. Using recent case studies and scenarios, panelists will demonstrate how their roles intersect within the MDT, offering insight into victim centered investigations, trauma responsive care, and coordinated service delivery. The session will emphasize the unique needs of youth in the child welfare system and provide strategies to strengthen cross sector partnerships. Attendees will leave with practical tools to build or enhance MDTS that support survivors, prioritize safety, and improve cross system responses to sex trafficking.
