Alisa Bernard holds the role of Child Sex Trafficking Program Specialist at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), where she serves as a subject matter expert working across organizational efforts to strengthen NCMEC’s national response to child sex trafficking. Alisa collaborates closely with internal divisions and external partners, including law enforcement, child welfare agencies, and national nonprofits to provide technical assistance, support survivor-consultant engagement, and represent NCMEC in working groups, trainings, and public events. Prior to joining NCMEC, Alisa has spent over a decade in anti-trafficking nonprofit leadership, legislative advocacy, community engagement and coalition strategy across multiple states. She has advised national organizations, supported major policy campaigns, and built multi-disciplinary partnerships to improve outcomes for vulnerable youth and adults.
