Kat Santiago is the Director of Peer Mentorship and Advocacy at RIA, Inc. in Framingham, Massachusetts. Leading survivor-centered, peer-driven program that support adults (18 and over) who have experienced sex trafficking, prostitution, or other forms of involvement in the commercial sex trade. Focusing on fostering empowerment, autonomy, and long-term stability through trauma-informed advocacy, mentorship, and systems navigation. Prior to that Kat was the Intake Coordinator and Senior Survivor Mentor at My Life My Choice. Providing intensive, consistent, and long-term support to youth who had experienced exploitation. This work included building trusting relationships, coordinating access to services, and offering individualized mentorship grounded in lived experience, compassion, and harm-reduction principles.
