Rachel Anavah Ewing, LMFT, serves as the Clinical Director having joined the RIA team in
February, 2022. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a focus in complex
trauma and commercial sexual exploitation. She and her family recently moved to
Massachusetts from California where she served on a multidisciplinary team for one of the
Commercially Sexually Exploited Children and Youth Courts. Rachel also managed a program
for CSEC youth and young adults where she also provided trauma therapy; she is practiced
and certified in EMDR, TF-CBT and Ending the Game, and has training/practice in DBT, dissociative disorders, and borderline personality disorder where she uses a harm reduction lens.
She is an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor. Rachel believes in anti-racist and gender affirming care. She is passionate about providing high quality and culturally attuned care to folks connected to the commercial sex trade and grateful to get to engage in this work with RIA.
