Description
The movement to end exploitation requires leadership in the policy arena by those who have been most impacted. Further, policy advocacy can be a primary tenet of both healing and leadership development. When done correctly, this form of advocacy work is not re-traumatizing or tokenizing for survivors. Workshop participants will learn concrete skills toward supporting survivors in shifting into their power as well as ways for allies to engage in partnership.
