Juliana Diaz is currently the Community Outreach and Education Coordinator for the Southeast Region with the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) Children’s Services team. She is a licensed mental health counselor in Florida and has practiced in both community mental health and child welfare settings. Juliana has 10 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual and physical abuse, and human trafficking. She has also provided ongoing case management and support in trauma-informed court settings. Specializing in trauma-informed care, Juliana has facilitated groups for both child and adult survivors of human trafficking. Additionally, she has over 8 years of experience facilitating training on various topics within the social services field.
