Description

This presentation will explore sex trafficking and exploitation of unaccompanied immigrant children (UCs) migrating to the United States, shedding light on push/pull factors of migration, specific risk factors which traffickers may exploit, and trends among the UC population such as survival sex and involuntary sexual servitude. We will also highlight USCRI’s programs supporting UCs and the importance of creating a network of care, including comprehensive services and collaboration with key stakeholders to best support and safeguard children.
