Detective Jasin Swy is a 13-year veteran of the Mesa Police Department and currently serves as a plainclothes detective with the Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEaT) Unit and a Task Force Officer with the FBI Phoenix Field Office. He has led and participated in numerous large-scale human trafficking investigations across Arizona. Jasin is an AZPOST primary instructor and helped develop the HEaT UC/Decoy School for law enforcement training. He is a Cellebrite Certified Operator/Physical Analyst and a graduate of the CASA Course. He has earned multiple honors for his anti-trafficking work, including the Medal of Excellence from Mesa PD and the Arizona Anti-Trafficking Network’s “Game Changer” award. He was also a 2024 instructor at the RISS Western Region Human Trafficking Summit.
