Kate Walker Brown is an attorney and Senior Director at the National Center for Youth Law, leading efforts to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children and youth. With over a decade of experience, Kate focuses on reshaping legal and social systems to center survivors’ voices and dismantle the criminalization of youth. She is passionate about creating community-driven alternatives. Kate has authored publications and provides trainings and technical assistance across the country. As co-chair of California’s CSEC Action Team, she drives groundbreaking policies that empower youth and survivors. She holds a law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and a bachelor’s from Pomona College.
