Sharon Boyes, CFRE, is the Foundation Executive Director for Lions World Vision Institute, the world’s largest combined non-profit eye bank, ocular research, and prevention and education center. A 20-year fundraising and marketing veteran, Sharon has raised millions for the arts, healthcare, social services, and animal welfare sectors. She specializes in expanding donor bases, achieving exceptional fundraising results, and advancing organizational goals through community engagement and innovative communication strategies.
Sharon is actively involved in her local community, serving on the board of the AFP Tampa Bay Chapter and the AFP Global Nominating Committee, and maintaining strong connections through the Tampa Bay, Ybor City, South Tampa, and other local chambers of commerce. She has planned over 500 events, including transforming a virtual gala into a record-breaking fundraiser, netting $1.25M over three years.
A Cleveland native and John Carroll University graduate, Sharon lives in Florida, enjoying its beaches with her husband Marc, four children, three grandchildren, and their Golden Retriever, Butters.
