Dr. Christopher J. Snyder is a visionary nonprofit leader committed to driving meaningful societal change through philanthropy and innovation. With over twenty years of experience in nonprofit business development, marketing, project management, and fundraising, Chris’s expertise lies in forging connections across generations to inspire impactful giving and transformative leadership.
Born and raised in Boca Raton, FL, Chris combines a deep understanding of community with a global perspective shaped by his academic achievements. He holds a BSBA in Business Administration with a focus in Sports Management, an MBA in Marketing and Management, and a Ph.D. in Global Leadership from Indiana Institute of Technology. His doctoral research, Philanthropic Perceptions of Millennial Global Leaders, underscores his passion for next-generation giving and board engagement.
As CEO of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation, Chris advocates for leveraging the $84 trillion wealth transfer from baby boomers to younger generations. He emphasizes cultivating relationships with millennial and Gen Z donors, who are redefining philanthropy with a focus on transparency, equity, and measurable impact.
