Dr. Christopher J. Snyder is a visionary nonprofit leader committed to driving meaningful societal change through philanthropy and innovation. With over twenty years of experience in nonprofit business development, marketing, project management, and fundraising, Chris’s expertise lies in forging connections across generations to inspire impactful giving and transformative leadership.

Born and raised in Boca Raton, FL, Chris combines a deep understanding of community with a global perspective shaped by his academic achievements. He holds a BSBA in Business Administration with a focus in Sports Management, an MBA in Marketing and Management, and a Ph.D. in Global Leadership from Indiana Institute of Technology. His doctoral research, Philanthropic Perceptions of Millennial Global Leaders, underscores his passion for next-generation giving and board engagement.

As CEO of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation, Chris advocates for leveraging the $84 trillion wealth transfer from baby boomers to younger generations. He emphasizes cultivating relationships with millennial and Gen Z donors, who are redefining philanthropy with a focus on transparency, equity, and measurable impact. Chris is equally passionate about preparing nonprofit boards to engage younger members, bringing fresh energy and diverse perspectives to leadership roles.

Chris’s career trajectory reflects his ability to innovate across industries. He transitioned from managing financial centers at Wells Fargo to roles in sports marketing, including launching the Fort Wayne TinCaps and directing partnerships with the Miami Marlins, St. Louis Cardinals, and Florida Panthers. His move to the nonprofit sector has allowed him to align his professional expertise with his mission to improve communities and elevate education.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling, painting, cooking, and spending time with his wife, Danielle, and their two young sons, Nicholas and Luke. His leadership continues to inspire the next generation of donors and leaders to create lasting, meaningful change.
