In 2016, I became a Licensed Auctioneer and opened Jay Zeager Auctions conducting numerous Benefit Auctions throughout the state of Florida and around the United States as well as serving as Emcee for many events. To this date, I have helped raise over $25 million for organizations and schools through the Live Auction and Call to Heart. I also serve as a consultant for many organizations and have conducted Live Auction seminars for numerous Non-Profit programs.
Along with my auctions, I have volunteered my time and talent to many nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County including Petals with Purpose, The Arc of Palm Beach County, Live Like Jake and many others. In 2016, I was named Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser from the Palm Beach Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and served as Co-Chair for National Philanthropy Day Palm Beach in 2017, 2018 and 2024.
Beginning in 2016, I began my Public Address Announcer career as the voice of the Miami Marlins for Spring Training, Palm Beach Cardinals and Jupiter Hammerheads of the Florida State League and Keiser University Football, Baseball, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Flag Football and Volleyball.
From 1997 – 2017, I enjoyed a 20 year radio career in the Palm Beaches as an On-Air Personality for 98.7 The Gator, Kool 1055 as part of The Mo & Sally Show, 95.9 The Palm and Big 1059 in Miami. Following my time in radio, I began my work as a Development Director for American Cancer Society and Clinics Can Help in West Palm Beach.
