Description
The federal Families First Prevention Services Act created broad requirements for child welfare systems related to youth who go missing -- without defining key terms. This panel discussion will highlight how several state child welfare systems interpreted and implemented requirements in an effort to quickly locate and recover missing youth. Presenters will share successes, lessons learned, and questions yet to be resolved. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with the content by asking questions and reflecting on the needs and responses in their own communities.
