Communities across the U.S. have been confronted with the challenges of developing sustainable and successful service responses for trafficked youth, resulting in an overreliance on and over-involvement of already-burdened systems to fill the gap. This roundtable discussion with several of Shared Hope’s JuST Response Council members will underscore the importance of community-based care, diverse models for leveraging and investing in existing community organizations and providers, and promising outcomes when kids and families are met where they’re at.
