Kim Figueroa endured a traumatic and abusive childhood, followed by horrific experiences in foster care and residential lockdown facilities during her adolescence. After nearly 13 years of exploitation for sex, labor, and drug trafficking, she has been able to use her expertise, knowledge, and lived experiences to assist the FBI, US Marshalls and local law enforcement agencies with trafficking cases. In 2023 The Attorney General's Office recognized Kim as the Survivor Advocate of the Year.
